My First Blogging of Many Thoughts

I am an Arkansas boy. That's what I am and what I will always be. I ponder things in life, quite a lot. Possibly to the extreme at times, and am always surprised, for some unknown reason, at people around me. I watch people. Not in a voyeuristic way, just out of curiosity. People are funny. I am also fascinated at peoples thoughts and speaking. You can always tell which people engage their mouths before engaging their brains. I have been thinking a lot about the economy lately. From the best of my ability, everywhere I look, and see economic suffering, there in the shadows, GREED, is always lurking. I feel it is safe to say that greed is pretty much 100% responsible for the mess we are in now. You see people, mainly females, having kids, and hear them in the stores saying, "I'll get a BIG income tax check cause I have kids". Well, OK, I have a problem with that. I'm not saying people raising children shouldn't get a helping hand by getting more refund. But just because I choose not to have children, I shouldn't be paying my hard earned money to pay a "earned income" payment to a female that doesn't work, so she can go to Wal-Mart and blow all my money. I know this first hand, because I have family that does the very same thing. She has probably worked 3 months out of her whole life, and sits on her butt day after day, "minus child care", and gets a HUGE tax refund every year. Now I am sorry, but that PISSES me off.

I think America actually needs to go through a little recession, and people need to get back to living by their means. Only buying what they can afford. Staying away from all the credit cards, etc, etc. Like the old timers, cash on the barrel type people. My Grandpa always felt that if you needed something, go buy it. If you didn't have the money for it, you didn't need it. I guess I have even been guilty of living beyond my means at times, but my eyes have been opened, and if I want something, I save for it. If I don't have the patience to save for it, I don't buy it. I think all of America would be better off if more people started looking at things this way.

I will quit rambling now. I promise I will try to get on one subject and stay with it in my future Blogs. Enjoy my ridiculous ramblings, and if you feel the need, please comment. Thank you for reading.
